POINT-TO-POINT COURSES
(both start at 8 a.m.)

Half Marathon
This RRCA Western Region Half Marathon Championship certified 13.1 mile course is ranked as one of the most scenic in the country by Runner's World. It starts at 8 a.m. on John F. Kennedy Drive at Stow Lake Drive and finishes on Martin Luther King Drive near the Great Highway. After three hours into the race, participants still on the course will be moved to the running path to finish the course. (The finish line is open for four hours after the event’s start). A Finisher Medal will be given to the first 6,000 finishers.

5K Fun Run
This event starts at the same time and place as the Half Marathon and finishes in the same area.

DIVISIONS
Half Marathon awards will be given to the top three finishers in the following age divisions: 19 and under, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70 and over. 5K Fun Run awards will be presented to the top three finishers in Youth, Teen, Open, Masters, and Seniors divisions.

HALF MARATHON FINISHER MEDAL
A commemorative 25th Anniversary Half-Marathon
Finisher Medal will be handed out to the first 6,000 finishers.

RACE FEES

Half Marathon
$40 now through 1/11/08, with a $15 discount if you are 16 years and younger.
$50 from 1/12/08 through 1/25/08 by mail and through 1/31/08 online.
Note: There is a small processing fee for online registration.

5K Fun Run
$30 now through 1/11/08, with a $15 discount if you are 16 years and younger.
$40 from 1/12/08 through 1/25/08 by mail and through 1/31/08 online.

WILL-CALL PACKET PICK-UP
If you do not receive your race packet in the mail prior to the race, come to the Will-Call tent between 6:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m., located near the starting line on John F. Kennedy Drive near Stow Lake Drive.

PARKING
Parking is available at the Great Highway and above the Cliff House. Free shuttles to the starting point will depart the Great Highway at Fulton Street from 6:15 to 7:15 a.m. No shuttles will be provided after the race finish.

POST RACE ACTIVITIES AND FINISHER SHIRT
Expanded post-race expo area this year! Each registered participant will receive the official long-sleeve finisher t-shirt, to be picked up at the post race expo area. View the race T-shirt design.

COURSE SUPPORT
Water and an electolyte drink are provided at the start and at four points along the Half Marathon course. Split times are called out at each mile and many course monitors are on the routes.

  • Runners line up according to your minute-per-mile pace
  • Baby joggers and walkers line up at the 8 minute/mile orange pace signs.
Your participation in this event helps support the Hemophilia Foundation of Northern California, Support for Families of Children with Disabilities and Koret Family House. If you would like to make an additional personal donation to one of our designated charities Pamakid Runners will gladly forward your contribution to the designated charity. If you register by mail include a separate check, made payable to the individual charity. If you register online simply select the charity you'd like to make a donation to and fill in the amount.
